Senlac Hill.


On that morning of October 14th of the year 1066, there was something in the air. Was easy to feel great and serious events approaching. King Harold II of England came right on time for his appointment with history. With his army he was blocking the road to London. So he was showing his decision to stop the Norman invasion there, no matter the cost. It was about to ocur a medieval joust, to determine not only who would be king, but also the future course of the nation.

La Colina de Senlac.


En aquella mañana del 14 de octubre del año de 1066, algo parecía flotar en el ambiente, podía sentirse la inminencia de grandes, y graves acontecimientos. El rey Harold II de Inglaterra había llegado puntualmente, para una cita con la historia. Dispuso sus fuerzas de modo que bloquearan el camino hacia Londres, con lo que mostraba su obvia decisión de impedir, a cualquier precio, la invasión de los normandos. Allí, estaba por llevarse a cabo una gran justa medieval, que llegaría a decidir, no solo el dueño de la corona inglesa, sino también el rumbo futuro de esa nación.
